We are happy to be back on the fields and excited for a great season. With COVID-19 cases rising again in our area, please continue to monitor and follow the CDC guidelines as we want to have as normal of a season as possible. Please read the CDC guidelines for COVID-19 https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/if-you-are-sick/quarantine.html If a player tests positive, then they have to isolate for a minimum of 10 days. They can resume on day 11 if they have no symptoms during that time and test negative via PCR test.
If a player was exposed to someone with COVID-19 (spent 15 minutes or more during the day within 6 feet of the person with COVID-19), the player who was exposed should quarantine for a minimum of 10 days. If the player has no symptoms, then they can resume on day 11.
If you would like to shorten the quarantine, then you can do so if you take the PCR test after 5 days minimum and assuming you have no symptoms. If you are negative, then you can resume after 7 days with no symptoms and the negative test that was taken after day 5.
* We will continue to monitor CDC guidelines and follow protocol if their guidelines change. All coaches have been advised to keep 6 feet distance from the players and not stand too close for a period of time.
Important: please keep 6 feet as much as possible from the players. If you are to make a coaching point and need to get closer, put your mask on for that and don't be close to someone for more than a couple of seconds. This is done for your own safety but also to prevent you having to self-quarantine if a player has it and attends training. |
