AYSO 1370 - Synthetic Turf Field Rules
To ensure our synthetic turf remains in top condition for our players, AYSO 1370 adheres to strict guidelines set by the Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department. Failure to comply may result in cleaning fees or restricted field access.
Strictly Prohibited on Turf Areas
The following items are not allowed on any synthetic turf surface:
- ALL FOOD & SNACKS
- GUM, SEEDS & CANDY
- ALL DRINKS (Except Water)
- FOLDING CHAIRS
- TENTS & CANOPIES
- METAL CLEATS/SPIKES
- DOGS/ANIMALS
- SHARP OBJECTS
Seating Guidelines for Parents
We understand that certain Fields are a distance for many parents; however, protecting the surface is our priority.
- Outside the Fence: Please utilize the bleachers and benches located along the perimeter of the field.
- On the Turf: Parents are welcome to bring blankets to sit on the turf, as they do not penetrate or damage the surface like chair legs.
- No Dragging: If moving equipment or heavy items, please lift and carry. Do not drag items across the turf.
Additional User Responsibilities
- Clean-Up: All user groups must remove trash and personal belongings immediately after their session.
- Spills: If a spill occurs, blot the area with a towel using water only. Do not use cleaning products.
- Pre-Use Inspection: Coaches should inspect the turf for hazards or loose seams before every activity and report damage to the county liaison.
Note: Synthetic turf does not regenerate like grass. Anything left behind, especially food and trash, contributes to the permanent degradation of our playing surface.
